Light on a 1980 Kitty Cat is it possible?

I have an KC from 1980 is it possible to have a light on it, if where to connect and is it 6volt or 12 volt

Yes it is. I believe they (arctic cat, or john at obups) still sell a kit that has a light and the wiring that should bolt onto the hood and plugs right into the wiring harness, it looks the same as what is on the newer KC's. I made my own for my '77 because I didn't like where the light mounts. The KC is 12v and has enough watts to power a couple small bulbs, but if you do it yourself you'll need to add a voltage regulator to keep the bulbs from burning out.
