Post by arcticranger »

i have found out kaw motor piston/parts are hard to find?
but the new motor like a suzuki are still available. IS thise right?

Has anybody looked in to maybe putting a suzuki piston and rings in to a kaw motor?

Just wondering if it could work, even if a little machine work was needed.

were can i find the spec on the two motor, such as stroke, bore, and what not, I want to look deeper into this idea

If my memory serves me correctly....Kaw motors are a 42mm bore with a 44mm stroke.....but the wirst pin size in a kaw motor is a 10mm and the suzuki is a 12mm....and the piston height is different and wirst pin location....been a looooong time since I seen a kaw piston....Bill Tripp
