1972 Kitty Cat won't run.

I have a 1972 Kitty Cat that ran good a couple of years ago. I drained the gas and put in fresh and tried 2 different carbs that I have to make it run. If I shot starting fluid into it, it will start and run for a few seconds then die. Good spark but needs the ether to start. Any ideas?

CRANKSHAFT SEALS!!!!!
Can get them at WWW.WINDEROSA.COM
in the complete gasket set reseal the whole motor
dont screw around the hardest part is getting the
flywell off once you do make refrence marks on the stator plate 4 easy reassembly

Is there anyone in the Upper Penisula of Michigan or Wisconsin that does this work for a reasonable price? Just don't have the time to do it myself and I would like it done right.
