What is deep snow?

Post by snowmobilejack » Sat Oct 17, 2015 10:05 am

I keep seeing the phrase "deep snow" here... I guess we can agree that stock Kitty Cats do not perform well in deep snow. So, based on riding experience, what is the definition of deep snow?

Please elaborate on your vote and your experience if you can. Thanks!

I voted for 5 inches because it seems like an average.

This is a tough one because of the density of the snow and the air temp. I don't think there is one exact measurement before you could consider any snowfall "deep snow".

You get 6 or more inches of the fluffy stuff and you may not have any issue. :D
