carb help

Post by 2xmod »

MY kitty Cat will idle good all day long. As soon as you give it any gas, it bogs. I pulled the carb apart, and didnt find anything gummed up. I pulled the bowl off, and the jets appeared unclogged. Except for the jet that screws in from the top (pilot)? The holes are so small, i cant tell. If i choke it, it will rev wide open for a bit, ot when you remove the fuel line from the bowl, and reinstall it, start it up, it will rev high for about 4 secs and shut off. When restarted, it only idles, until you pull the fuel line off, and reinstall again. :?: I removed the gas cap. Didnt make any difference. Please Help... Brad

Hold the choke half way closed, if it runs any better, my guess would be crank seals (usually ignition side). Its a common issue.
