Clutch

Well I'm really to big to be riding a kitty cat (14 and 120 pounds) but I still love my new kitty cat. The clutch is starting to go I think. I have to push is to start and it has more trouble hauling me. I looked at Olson Brothers for a better clutch. He has many to choose from but which would be the best for me? And how many tooth?

Get a Hilliard extreme duty instead. They are about $50 on ebay. 35 chain 12 tooth 5/8 shaft.

Do you have one? Will your kitty cat haul you around good? I don't want to spend $50 unless it will fix the problem but if it fixes the problem it's well worth the money.

How to you hold the clutch to remove the bolt at the end of the drive shaft?

They are probably the strongest clutch. Have one on a 120 and it works great. Have one on order for the kitty cat. With the chain on the sled just unbolt the clutch. If it's been on there along time getting the clutch off can be a little tough. I dont ride the kitty, I'm 6'0 190 so my days have long past

How to you hold the clutch to remove the bolt at the end of the drive shaft?

You could try to put a couple inches of rope into the sparkplug hole to help lock the engine while you loosen the bolt. There might also be enough of a hub sticking out of the clutch that could be griped with some channel locks.

Thanks for the help but the snow melted and I took my kitty cat out ran fine and didn't have a problem moving me it moved me so much easier than with snow so will a new clutch really solve my problem?
