Red kill switch

Post by mbo285 »

I took my two kitties out of the basement from when I was a kid. Can't decide if I should part or fix as they need belly pans and hoods. One has a red push button kill switch that looks original. Does anyone know what the original kill switches look like

Not a good picture as I went out to the garage without a jacket on and started shaking from the cold but you should get the idea of what it looks like.

Depends on the year of the sled.
The newer kitty cats used the plastic push botton like in the pic above.
The older kitty cats used the round push button with rubber sides/skirt around it.

Thanks.
It's from an older one I think a 72. It has the red plastic button with rubber sides like you described. I wanted to be sure so I can label it correctly when I part it. I also found a pic so I know it's own.
