1972 runs then bogs also need a new recoil

i have the Kaw "A" motor, and when i first start it up it will idle and run good for a bit then it will bog down and almost quit... I have tried holding the throttle wide open and it will run like a champ...then it will bog down...when it bogs down i notice that the butterfly will open all the way on the carb....

so whats going on here???

After it has run for about an hour it won't bog down nearly as much and the kids can spend all day riding.... but i have about a pot of coffee, and 1/2 a can of starter fluid gone each A.M.

I will try to make a video tomorrow to illustrate a little better.

I also need a new recoil assembly if anyone has one they would like to sell.
