What year Kitty Kat is this?

Post by trdehmer »

See link below, the only S/N stamping I could find on the tunnel says 0310122 which my dealer says means nothing because the S/N should be 10 digits long? The S/N on the engine says t5b060sia

I'm hoping someone can provide more input on the year of this sled, if I had to guess its a 1973 model with a newer model hood or aftermarket hood with the headlight.

Thanks for your help!!

1973, If tunnel stamps are sequential you have a later one, there should be a rivited plate by that number that gives the month of production.

I found another one similar to the other one, that one has the plates still on the sled. That one is Stamped Sept. 1972. Does that means its a 1972 model or 1973?

Thats a 73, Im no expert on this but the 73 tunnels I have have a july and aug. dates on the plates and a 0303xxx and a 0304xxx stamps respectivly. If the numbers are sequential they sure made alot of them. From what I understand they sold the 73 model up to 76.
