carb problem 2

i tried a carb from my snowblower and it seems to act the same way as the other carb after reading some other posts it looks like the crank seal may be gone am i going in th right direction. wont idle or rev

could be a crank seal issue... Next time you get it started spray some starting fluid into the recoil, if it has bad seals, . the Rpms will go up. then you know what your problem is. if it is an older Kawasaki motor I am sure is will need new seals.. Kevin

yes it is an old kawasaki it is a 1973. do you know if you have to split he case to do the crank seals

I am not sure, but I think so.. I sent mine to a guy in MN and he installed them, dialed in my carb and sent it back to me I think I paid 125.00 for parts and labor
