carb problems

hello i recently just picked up a 1973 kitty cat. i cleaned the carb and it fired right up but i have to feather the throttle to keep it running, and it does not seem to rev. i think somebody may have confused the jets because they are all the same with diffrent numbers. anybody have any ideas

I checked the browns leisure website and your carb is the same as my 1972 kitty carb and the larger jet goes at the top on a bit of an angle and the smaller one goes staight in on the left side. I hope this helps
