Hi,
Just bought a 1980 kitty cat . wont start. Fresh gas , carb flushed out system. Have spark to plug, pulled plug and no spark at electrode. Grounded plug & tried another . The spark I have to the plug is orange .
Any help would be apprciated.

Did you put a splash of fresh fuel down the spark plug hole and try to fire it?

check to see that it is pulling fuel? could have a bad set of crank seals.
