Need Help With Recoil Assembly..?

I have a 72 Recoil I'm trying to put back togerther. The coil spring is kicking my BUTT! Does anyone have any pointers on how I can re-assemble this a little easier?

I also need help putting a recoil back together. the spring sucks. I can't ever get it back in right. please help us both!!!!

did you guys ever figure out the spring issue with the recoils? I know it's been a while since you posted but I just reassembled a spare one I had and it wasn't too bad. If you still need help just post or pm me.

a friend repairs these, if you have the parts i am building one, they are a hassle he is a real good with these, at good p :) rices if you get sick of it bd
