Kitty Cat Snowmobiles

I have a 91 kitty kat that will not seem to stop leaking gas. I've changed the needle valve and seat (paid way too much for it but oh well), the hole to vent the carb is free, i've got the metal plate at top of carb to stay in place by rounding the pins a bit put a new gasket on the fuel bowl. The fuel tank and line seem fine. for some reason it just seems to have gas running right through everything. I end up with gas pooled under the snowmobile. I've gone at this thing several times and am getting pretty frustrated at this point...

anybody out there with any suggestions...?

Float height set correctly? Floats sticking or hole in floats?
