finally idling w/out choke, but bogs when hit throttle

and quits.


i actually sprayed ether near the drive shaft and chain sprocket and it wont bog at all, runs fine, starts spinning the track and wants to go ,,, and then stop the ether spray and it Bogs again....


so just lurking her for a bit..sounds like a bearing seal.

is this something that needs to go to dealer..or can a semi-underqualified guy and maybe a buddy replace it over a couple of pints ??

check the idler wheels in the rear. I have two 99's both in great shape but both had some seized wheels. Took them apart cleaned them up and greased them made a big difference. Also check he carb make sure its clean and not gummed up from sitting so long.
