Wheel Kit in action

Post by kube1 »

I just built a wheel kit for my son's Kitty. I put the video on facebook. I should have done this ages ago. He loved it.

Ok, here's some close up pics of the wheel mod. Mine are slightly different from the ones Arctic Cat used to offer. I used 3/4in. square 4130 bar and turned the ends on the lathe for spindles. The ends are also threaded 1/2-13NC for locknuts. I would suggest using 303 stainless if you can get it. Its free machining and won't rust. The wheels came from Princess Auto but you could use almost anything.
