Is it a 1971??

I was told 1972 models have KC-3 serial numbers.. Mine says KC-2 then some number and was made in Omaha, Nebraska. Does anyone know if this is a 1971 or 1972. The motor is an A model also.

That's a 72, and 72 were T5A's, and 73 was T5B. I'm no expert but learned this early on in the last couple months with the research and help from various board members and threads. There were very few 71's and I've seen a few pics of them, but not Kawi powered. I think Thomas Sno sports has one. I also saw a pic in my snowmobilers bible.
