lower steering column attatchment

Post by seanc »

I'm trying to fix the steering column on my little guys kitty cat, there is no attatchment at the belly pan, there is a hole in the pan and I can see the bottom of the steering column is worn at the very bottom where it looks like it attatched to the belly pan. The problem is that I am looking at the parts picture from the micro fishe and it doesn't show any servicable parts except the belly pan. Does anyone know if this is the only way to get this part or is the picture not showing everything?

The steering column sits in a a piece of pipe that is welded to the bulkhead. and there is a a U-shaped collar that holds it and keeps it from moving to far up and down and Left to right. there really isnt to much to wear out. the main issues come from the slop in the steering rods and the plates that connect them to the spindles..
