Post by LiLYeLL »

Anyone know what the part number for the Tecumsah Carb is?

I see that there are many that have done it... but no one is giving a part number.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'd like to help, but I don't know the specific number. Of all the Tecumseh carbs out there, I'm sure you could easily match one up to the Mikuni and just go with a slightly larger bore. I'd assume one from a 5hp motor would work well.

There is a common upgrade to the round slide Mikuni, I think it's like 18mm or something. That would be your best bet for performance. John from Olson bro's can get you that. 8)

The carb I used was off a 8hp or 10hp riding lawn mower. No part number that I know of. I just made sure that the carb had a low speed and high speed adjustment, so I could make adjustments.
