Any tips,testing coil,magneto,condensor???

72 kitty cat.I'm getting intermitant spark.pulled the points,cleaned them,Not in bad shape,cut the end off the plug wire and reattached the plug spring clamp.any way to test the rest of the ignition system???Thanks

Going off of memory here: I think primary should be about 10 ohms and secondary should be about 1-2 ohms (in general, not specifically for this motor). Make sure all the wiring connections and grounding connections / mounts are tight and clean first. I rarely have seen intermittent coils though. Sounds like something's loose.
