Hello,
How many of you actually stick to the recommended 2 cycle oil or do you just choose a reputable brand? Is it necessary or are they just selling their own oil. I have no problem sticking with the recommended oil if it is better for the engine.

The service manual recommends Arctco 50:1 injection oil for the newer engines. I don't feel you need to stay brand loyal. Amsoil sells products that are as good as they get if you're looking for alternatives.
