Cleaning a Working Carb

Hello,
Is it worth the trouble to clean a working carb on a Kitty? Other than spraying it out with some carb cleaner, I'm not real eager to take it all apart if it's working in its current condition. Any thoughts on carb cleaning and how far I should go?

thanks!
Bill

I wouldn't open a can of worms this time of year. Carb cleaner may help you clean it up but I wouldn't go too far into a good working carb.

I agree with Jack. Don't try to fix what's not broken. If you do venture into the carb, there's not much to them. When you take off the float make sure you don't drop the needle from the needle and seat in the top of the float chamber. I get lots of requests for them. ;-)
