identification of my new find

Post by Nvrplay2ty »

Just getting into the kitty kat restoration world..putting one together for my grand daughter I was told the one I have is a 72. I hoping so as it will match my pair of 72 cheetahs.. But the decals look alot newer. Can i tell by the serial number?
Thanks for any info Brad

You can always post pictures too, sometimes this will help ID the sled!

if i did it right there should be 3 photos... the entire unit, the serial number and the motor ID...
The decals look like 1996... serial starts in 80 does that mean its an '81? and the motor id makes it a '78 motor
the seat looks like a lot older model... thanks for any info...
