I believe that I'm the only one that carries these electronic ignitions anymore, and I keep them in stock. You can find them on my website at http://obups/products/engine.htm or you can call me at 651-395-2296.
Also, you might want to make sure that your coil is good first. You are looking for 5100 ohms +/- 20%. If you're seeing high numbers like 10,000 or greater, you have a shorted out coil. I've never found a service manual for the 1972, but I have the electrical section of the 1977-79 manual online at http://obups/ServiceManuals/197 ... trical.pdf if that helps.
