The seller put everything together hand tight so it looks together but it's not. He said it would not get fuel. He had already went through carb and started taking it apart and broke fan/flywheel. I did not take a pic but when we tore down engine the Crank seal was not seated and just dangling on the shaft so yes it ended up with a crank seal leak I'd say...
It got a total engine rebuild anyhow including gaskets, standard bore piston/rings and went and got new bearings from a local bearing shop. $38 kit/$26 bearings.

After some searching a guy responded from a FB forum with a fan for $25 not 20 miles from my home....Score!!!

Wow, nice job, that looks good. Now all you need is some snow, hopefully real soon.
