Kitty Cat Kill Switch

Post by carlitho »

I don't have any wiring diagram handy, but from past experiences with mini-bikes and go-karts, I know a kill switch can be as simple as a normally open switch that grounds out the coil when you press it in.

So normally open for this install. Not sure if there is another solution recommended for a Kitty Cat kill switch.

Anyone have a Kitty Cat wiring diagram handy?

A tether switch is held open when the tether is in place, when you remove it, the switch contact closes under spring tension.

I'm not sure if you consider that to be a normally open or normally closed switch.

Normally Open

Yes. Whether you install a tether or kill switch it has to be normally open.
