the wmf file opens in windows picture and fax viewer

the .dxf file will go directly into a laser cutter, punch press or water jet

the dwg file is an acad file and can be opened and edited easily in acad

Thanks for the prints, opened them with no problems.

Had a question about the plates (for anyone who's done this). What material/thickness is recommended?

Can I use 1/8" aluminum? Would that be too weak? Is there enough clearance for 3/16" or 1/4" aluminum?

If using regular steel, would 1/8" work?

Stainless would probably be ideal, but I don't have access to it...

I have used 11and 12 gauge cold rolled for the plates I made, anything thicker you will most likely have to shorten the shafts and spacers. If the extra machine work is not an issue then go with 1/4" aluminum and use some stainless counter sink screws for the shafts and polish or anodize the plates some funky color. That would look slick...... if your into that kind of thing.

I took a look, and see what you mean about needing to shorten the shafts with thicker materials. I'm gonna go with 1/8" steel sheet, which is pretty close to 11 gauge.

I use 12 gauge hot rolled which I believe is what the stock plates are made with.
11 gauge is 1/8"
Stainless would be nice but it is 3 times the cost as hot rolled steel.
