Plug at Bottom of Gas Tank??

Post by yellowlab2 »

I just picked up a '79 Kitty, and the plug at the bottom of the tank was leaking. The lip that goes inside of the tank had broken off of the metal part of the shut off inlet, and was not seating in the tank anymore. Is this all one piece with the shut off assembly, or can you buy this piece separately? Thanks!

You can buy the rubber grommet and the fuel shutoff valve separately. Your local arctic cat dealer can get this for you.

Rubber Grommet

Post by JonnO »

If you haven't found a grommet yet, I carry them in stock and they are only $2.46. I also offer a "Gas Tank Kit" that comes with the tank, cap, fuel shutoff/filter, and grommet at a reduced cost.

Let me know if you stil need one.
