WHO HAS THE LOWEST KITTY CAT ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER

I have number 00526 1971 kawasaki eng any one have a earlier one . BRAD

Brad, On my 72 Kitty I had it out and took a look at the motor serial number. Model 15A71. Serial 015027. Also the serial of the sled is KC2-14805. Now what I do not know is did they start at zero for the motor number?? I do not think they made 15 Thousand of these in 71. If they use the 1 as the year then the 5 as the first set of serial number then I could believe it that mine would be 5027 motor made. Then look at the sled and motor numbers. 14805 sled made and the 15027 motor made. I do not know?? Any body got any ideas?? With your 00526 that is a low number. Then my idea is all wrong.. Number 71 T5A 000769 just got this one needs work clean . Will look at the many cases we have to solve this i have 5 or more. 72 model grey coil with spark, but will it when hot!! BD

the engine i found at the junkyard is 0600. i do believe they made a ton of these in 72 as thats all i ever see
