Older child using a Kitty Cat

Post by steve0 »

Hello,

I have a 8 year old son who's been using his kitty for a while now, this winter will be his 4th year with it.

Last year I thought he was getting too big for it. This year I am fairly sure he is too big for it. He's about 51" and close to 60lbs.

Are there any "tweaks" that can be done so that he can ride this year? I'm not ready to get him into a 120 just yet, mostly for financial reasons.

The Kitty I'd like to tweak already has a lift kit. I looking more towards engine/gearing modifications.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Laager Racing does make a 36 tooth final drive sprocket. 42 is stock. It helps some.. Zip tie the governer if it is a Kawasaki. Personally I think I would go up to a 340 Jag. Bravo is a great sled.. or something like a small motor full size sled they grow so fast.. Brian
