| is the governor tied open?? carburated engine will not run with the fuels that the gas stations sell....The "ethnaols" are not designed for carburated motors....it don't matter if it is 87, 89, or 93 octane fuels they all have ethnaol in there...my advise is to find a small airport that has ultra lite planes there...they have 93 octane fuel FAA grade which has no "ethnaol" in there.....the piston top is getting so hot the incoming fuel charge just burns off thus causing a bogging affect....once the motor cools down it will run for another 10 mins.....I see this all the time |

91 non oxy fuel is more easily acquired and will work fine. _________________ 1977 Kitty Cat

| I don't think that fuel is avaliable here in the US at least not here in the midwest....All our fuels are now "enthnol" base because we are trying to save the world with our emissions.....if that fuel was avaliable....yes it would be fine |

91 octane non oxygenated fuel is available state wide in MN at most places. _________________ 1977 Kitty Cat
