compression is 128 after 3 pulls. The machine runs on choke but when you shut if off its dead. Cleaned carb soaked for 24 hours plew threw every hole removed jets and cleaned well. Will not run unless choke is on any ideas?

I was told it is not the crank seals but am not sure how to check them. It runs great on choke just to rick. What is a good way to check the seals. Also that would make it not run at all withthe choke off. I was told that if they where bad it would have a high idal

Spray some carb cleaner or ether behind the flywheel when running, if engine rpm increases your more than likely sucking air through the crank seal. The carb flange, cylinder base. and case gaskets leaking are also possible but not as likely, spray around those if the crank seal checks out. Good luck!
