I'm new to the kitty cat world but wanted a replacement track for a newly purchased '72 with a 5hp Honda 4 stroke w/deep snow kit.
Was there a difference between years as far as paddle depth or all they all very short?
Is anyone selling NOS ones any cheeper than $250 that I get as a price when I ask.
Looking to save a few bucks
Thanks

Track
There were four variations to the Kitty Cat track throughout the 1972 to 1999 production run. The first two were pretty flat and the last weren't too bad. The first track was used in 1972, second from '73 to '95, third from '96 to '97, and the last/best track from '98 to '99. The third track has better tread, but was thicker and stiffer than the last track. The last track was more flexible and rolled easier.
Since Arctic Cat prices continue to increase and dealer margins decrease, I can't do much better on the price. But I did what I could and temporarily discounted the new track price to $230. Retail is $247.95 and bound to go up again this fall. I have it listed on my website at http://www.fxrdeals.com/SearchResult.as ... s=0602-927. Email me if you have any questions at jonn@fxrdeals.com.
