Tecumseh engine

Post by Devine Plumbing »

New to the world of small snowmobiles. Bought a 97 Kitty earlier this year. Original motor has been replaced with a 3 HP Tecumseh. Ski has been lifted and studded. Any ideas on a simple way to add 12V power so the headlight and taillight will work?

rather than trying to find a lighting coil, you could just put some led bulbs in it and just run a rechargable battery pack . led bulbs use about 1/10th the energy of incandecents so getting a couple hours out of a charge should be no problem.

Or you could put a windmill on the hood.
