Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has used an alternate engine in an early (72-74) Kitty Cat? Wondering if any modern engines from other power equipment would fit / work. Not worried about the modifications necessary to the engine/drive train (work in a machine shop) just want to see what people have used instead of the stock engine. Reason is I am looking at an older Cat model and worried that if the engine needs repairs, that I may be stuck with an engine that I can't get parts for (Kawasaki engine).
