Equivalent Kawasaki motor replacement

Post by krellheat »

Hello All

I've picked up a 72 Kitty with out its original motor. I would like to make this sled a usable restoration. I would like to find an original kawasaki 60 but will settle for alternative powerplants.

What 2-cycle or 4-cycle motor can I drop in with out any major modifications?

The Suzuki motors bolt right in and all the parts are still available. You can find brand new ones for about $400 or buy a used one for $100-$150 Good Luck

I'll keep an eye out for one on Ebay. Then there is always a new one from OBUPS. Thanks

Found three on ebay.

Brand new $375 each including shipping.

Ebayer Catstuff is trustworthy--I have given him much of my money for sled parts.
