Mod Kitty Cat

I have a parts 91 Kitty Cat I am thinking of doing the following mods to; shave the head for 10:1 compression, port the cylinder, 20 or 22MM Mikuni carb, custom exhaust (dirtbike pipe cut down?), DanTheMan's lift kit. Ideally I would like a sled my young daughter could take on trails in the mountains with me. Does anyone have porting suggestions? Am I wasting my time and money trying to build power out of the 60cc Suzuki? Am I better off shoe-horning a Honda GX200 motor in? Has anyone "long-tracked" a Kitty Cat? I'd like to hear everyones thoughts/opinions. Thanks in advance
