:D boys 87 kittycat has 60 psi on compression, should I hone cylinder and replace rings or have bored out. I know best option is the bore but was courious if anyone has just done the rings and ran a few years or so? Thanks Ben!

Download the service manual for the 1987 kitty cat that will show you how to measure the cylinder piston clearance spec to determine if you can just rewriting with a hone or if you have to bore out the cylinder or replace it. just did a compression test on ours and it was 118. not bad for a 1980. good luck with your rebuild
