Kawaski versus Suzuki

What is the difference in power? Does the Kawasaki have more and is that why they will not race the Kawasaki and Suzuki togther in the stock class races?

The difference between Kawasaki and Suzuki and the reason the Kawi's are faster is because of the gear reduction box. I can't remember which one it but one of the gears is 1mm smaller in pitch diameter and that's why it's faster. Both motors turn the same RPM. Maybe the kawi a lil more because of the hemi head....I've hear both motors really sing
72 engine

I think that is the 72 kaw engine they rock, have more torque and seem to pull the suzuki engines off the line. I prefer the kaw. BD

The Kawi sleds are quicker because of the gear reduction difference.
The Kawi sleds have to race Vintage kitty cat class.
There is more racing to be had if your running a suzuki motor.
